• JM Engineering carries a complete line of magnesium die blocks to comply with OSHA Subpart O, 1910.217 (d)(9)(iv) that states "The employer shall provide and enforce the use of safety blocks for use whenever dies are being adjusted or repaired in the press". We have blocks for any size press with many standard sizes in stock for immediate shipment. Custom sizes are no problem and only require a few days of extra lead time.

Adjustable steel die blocks are the perfect solution for presses with adjustable shut heights that are run at different settings. A convent handle is cast directly to the block for easy handling. They are also great for hydraulic presses and press brakes that drift down when powered off. 

• Die Block Accessories:
  * Die block receptacle that disconnects the primary machine control power. When this option is ordered the die block has a plug attached to it with a stainless steel chain. In order to place the block in the press the plug must be removed from the receptacle. Everything needed is supplied including a cast junction box and a print. (please state make and model of press) 
  * Aluminum end plates that prevent the ends of the blocks from being chipped. These end plates also ensure that the block is firmly held in the upright position.
